Job Summary:

Leap Brands is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our growing home development and construction business. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee all financial functions, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital management, risk assessment, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate development, construction finance, and operational efficiencies to drive profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives and growth plans.

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.

  • Manage capital structure, financing strategies, and investor relations.

  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards.

  • Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and board.

  • Implement and oversee internal controls, risk management, and cost-control measures.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks, lenders, investors, and financial partners.

  • Ensure optimal cash flow management and oversee working capital requirements.

  • Lead the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and development teams to drive efficiencies and maximize profitability.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the construction and real estate sectors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role within the real estate, homebuilding, or construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of construction project financing, budgeting, and cost management.

  • Proven track record of optimizing financial performance and implementing strategic initiatives.

  • Experience managing investor relations, raising capital, and working with financial institutions.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing finance teams.

  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
