Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team in the equipment servicing industry. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support our business objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of the equipment servicing sector and the ability to lead a finance team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with variance analyses and performance reports for management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, including financial forecasting and long-term planning to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Cost Control: Analyze service costs and operational expenditures to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved efficiency.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and industry standards. Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to formulate financial strategies that enhance profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management: Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting systems, and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field, preferably in the equipment servicing or maintenance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices relevant to the industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing finance teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
