Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team in the equipment servicing industry. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support our business objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of the equipment servicing sector and the ability to lead a finance team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with variance analyses and performance reports for management.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, including financial forecasting and long-term planning to ensure alignment with business goals.
Cost Control: Analyze service costs and operational expenditures to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved efficiency.
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and industry standards. Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to formulate financial strategies that enhance profitability and operational effectiveness.
Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Risk Management: Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the organization.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting systems, and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is required.
5+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field, preferably in the equipment servicing or maintenance industry.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices relevant to the industry.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing finance teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
