Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role will be instrumental in executing marketing strategies across email, social media, and website platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, possess excellent writing skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote products, events, and initiatives.
- Manage email lists, segmentations, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Analyze email campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies for engagement and conversion.
Social Media Management:
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and opportunities for engagement.
- Implement social media advertising campaigns and track performance metrics.
Website Updating:
- Update website content regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with the web development team to implement new features, functionality, and design improvements.
- Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to increase visibility and traffic.
Creative Writing:
- Produce compelling and persuasive copy for marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, email campaigns, and advertisements.
- Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all marketing channels.
- Brainstorm and contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for email, social media, and website marketing efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing, social media management, website updating, and creative writing.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content for various audiences and channels.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Creativity and attention to detail, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
