Position Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the automotive or transportation industry, particularly in the areas of maintenance and repair, with a strong background in leading private equity-backed companies. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to align on strategic goals, maximize profitability, and ensure the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan, aligning with the Board of Directors to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring high levels of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction across all repair and maintenance services.
  • Financial Management: Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring profitability and growth targets are met.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, new service offerings, and strategic partnerships that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure that customer needs are met with the highest standards of service, quality, and responsiveness, building long-term client relationships.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment for employees and clients.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with private equity investors, board members, key clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, driving innovation in service delivery and operational processes.
  • Brand Management: Enhance the company’s brand and reputation in the market through effective marketing, public relations, and customer engagement strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive leadership role within the automotive, transportation, or related industry, with a focus on repair and maintenance services.
  • Experience working with private equity-backed companies is highly desirable.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities.
  • Excellent financial management skills, with experience managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of operational processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance within the industry.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
