Position Overview:

The Vice President of Operations will oversee all aspects of franchise and company-owned unit performance, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and brand standards. This executive leader will drive business strategy, develop strong relationships with franchisees, and enhance operational processes to support sustained expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Leadership

  • Develop and execute an operational strategy that supports franchise growth, revenue targets, and customer experience.
  • Align company-owned and franchise operations with brand standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Oversee operational KPIs, P&L performance, and unit-level profitability across all locations.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to identify and implement scalable business improvements.

Franchise & Company-Owned Unit Support

  • Build strong relationships with franchisees, providing guidance on operational excellence and financial performance.
  • Ensure a high level of franchisee engagement, compliance, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Develop training programs, operational manuals, and best-in-class support systems to improve unit-level success.
  • Partner with franchise development teams to support new franchise openings, site selection, and onboarding.

Performance Optimization & Growth

  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
  • Oversee labor management, supply chain operations, and cost control strategies.
  • Drive initiatives for menu/product optimization, service enhancements, and guest satisfaction.
  • Spearhead expansion strategies, including multi-unit growth, new market entry, and competitive positioning.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations, training, and field support teams.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, operational excellence, and growth.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in multi-unit operations, preferably within a franchise system (QSR, retail, hospitality, or service-based industries).
  • Strong P&L management experience, with a track record of improving unit economics and operational efficiencies.
  • Expertise in franchise relations, including franchisee support, compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence franchisees, corporate teams, and field operations.
  • Experience in scaling growth-oriented franchise operations, including new openings and market expansion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
