We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Integration with a strong operational focus to lead and execute the integration of newly acquired businesses into our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on operational expertise, and exceptional leadership skills to ensure the successful alignment, optimization, and growth of integrated entities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Integration Strategy:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with the organization's overarching goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define integration success metrics and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
    • Identify integration challenges and opportunities, crafting solutions that drive efficiency and enhance operational performance.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, HR, IT, operations, and business units, to ensure a seamless integration process.
    • Coordinate efforts to align processes, systems, and culture across the acquired and existing entities.
  3. Operational Optimization:

    • Analyze existing operational processes and identify areas for optimization, standardization, and efficiency improvement.
    • Lead process reengineering efforts to streamline operations and eliminate redundancies while maintaining or improving service quality.
  4. Project Management:

    • Develop detailed integration project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.
    • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address any issues that may impact the integration process.
  5. Change Management:

    • Implement change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition for employees and stakeholders during the integration process.
    • Provide leadership and support to address concerns, manage expectations, and drive alignment around the integration vision.
  6. Communication and Reporting:

    • Develop and execute a communication plan to keep all relevant stakeholders informed about integration progress, changes, and milestones.
    • Prepare regular status reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  7. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks associated with integration efforts and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
    • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements throughout the integration process.
  8. Talent Development:

    • Provide mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to team members involved in the integration process.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex integration projects within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, supply chain, finance, HR, IT, and other functional areas.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Change management expertise with the ability to drive cultural alignment and manage resistance to change.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within mergers and acquisitions or integration is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams toward a common goal.
