Vice President of Finance - Residential Services

Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Finance you will be a critical member of the leadership team, leading financial planning and analysis, driving acquisitions, and contributing to the overall growth strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience, and a passion for driving financial excellence.
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy:
- Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives and acquisition initiatives.
- Provide financial leadership and insights to support overall business strategy.
Acquisitions and Due Diligence:
- Lead the financial due diligence process for potential acquisitions, assessing financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and structure acquisition deals.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Oversee the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide regular financial reporting and insights to senior leadership.
Capital Structure Management:
- Evaluate and optimize the company's capital structure to support growth and acquisition activities.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and external financial partners.
Risk Management:
- Identify and manage financial risks associated with acquisitions and business operations.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
Integration Planning:
- Develop and execute financial integration plans for acquired companies, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with overall financial goals.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence.
- Develop and strengthen the capabilities of the finance team.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the executive team and board of directors.
- Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a finance leader, ideally in a residential services or related industry.
- Strong M&A experience, including due diligence and deal structuring.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
