Position Overview:

As a Private Equity Associate you will play a pivotal role in fund-level operations, financial analysis, due diligence, and internal collaboration with portfolio companies. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across various aspects of private equity, contributing to the success of the fund and maximizing value within the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  1. Fund-Level Analysis:

    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support fund-level decision-making.
    • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess fund performance.
  2. Due Diligence:

    • Lead due diligence processes for potential investments, analyzing market trends and assessing risks.
    • Collaborate with external advisors, legal teams, and industry experts to ensure thorough evaluations.
  3. Portfolio Company Collaboration:

    • Work closely with portfolio companies to understand their financial performance and operational needs.
    • Provide support and strategic insights to enhance the performance of portfolio investments.
  4. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and analyze financial reports for both the fund and portfolio companies.
    • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.
  5. Operational Optimization:

    • Identify opportunities for operational improvement within the fund and portfolio companies.
    • Collaborate with management teams to implement efficiency and growth initiatives.
  6. Investor Relations:

    • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for existing and potential investors.
    • Address inquiries and provide information related to fund and portfolio performance.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to drive fund success.
    • Ensure alignment of fund operations with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of investment analysis, due diligence, and fund operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
