Position Overview:

As a Private Equity FP&A Analyst you will play a crucial role in fund-level financial planning and analysis, due diligence processes, and internal collaboration with portfolio companies. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your analytical skills and contribute to the strategic financial management of both the fund and its portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  1. Fund-Level Financial Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support fund-level decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain financial models for fund performance evaluation.
  2. Due Diligence:

    • Lead financial due diligence processes for potential investments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Assess financial risks, market trends, and operational performance of potential investments.
  3. Portfolio Company Collaboration:

    • Work closely with portfolio companies on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Analyze and report on the financial performance of portfolio investments.
  4. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

    • Prepare and analyze fund and portfolio financial statements and reports.
    • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  5. Operational Optimization:

    • Identify opportunities for operational improvement within the fund and portfolio companies.
    • Provide financial insights to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  6. Investor Reporting:

    • Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and reports.
    • Address inquiries and provide financial information related to fund and portfolio performance.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to align financial strategies with business objectives.
    • Ensure seamless integration of financial planning into overall fund operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in private equity or related fields.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of investment analysis, due diligence, and fund-level financial operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
