Position Overview: The Senior Director of Beverage Sales will be responsible for leading and managing sales initiatives targeting the restaurant industry. This role demands a professional with extensive experience in restaurant operations who can leverage their industry knowledge to build strong relationships, optimize sales processes, and achieve revenue targets. The focus will be on integrating operational expertise to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate and expand our presence in the restaurant industry.
  2. Operational Integration: Utilize your deep understanding of restaurant operations to create tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our restaurant clients.
  3. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within the restaurant sector. Understand their operational challenges and provide effective beverage solutions.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the beverage sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team achieves its sales objectives.
  5. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth. Adapt sales strategies based on these insights.
  6. Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and drive continuous improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities and outcomes.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall company goals.
  8. Customer Success: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing operational and sales-related issues promptly and effectively.
  9. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with prospective clients to secure favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
  10. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • 5+ of experience in a senior sales or operations role within the restaurant industry.
  • Extensive background in restaurant operations, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics and challenges.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Experience in relationship management and contract negotiation.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
