Qualifications
Must have a Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to accept direction and work within a team concept
Being cordial to patients and fellow staff members
Proficient in Word/Excel
Monday – Friday shifts with flexible work hours
Must be able to cover other Progressive Urology Division locations for scheduled PTO & amp; callouts

Responsibilities
(Must be able to float to all of our Queens locations)
Float between all of our Queens locations
Measure and record the patient's vital signs
Prepare patients for examinations
Sterilize medical equipment and instruments
Collect and process lab specimens
Perform phlebotomies (blood draws)
Record accurate patient information during patient intake
Assist Providers during visits with examinations and all office procedures
Perform diagnostic testing after receiving certification to perform office diagnostic testing under the direct supervision of a Physician or APP supervision
Prepping of EMR office visit notes, and data transfer of patient HPI into the EMR
Assisting providers and other support staff in the data entry process of the office visit notes and EMR during patient sessions and in preparation for future patient sessions
Responsible for the daily opening & closing procedure protocols
Maintaining cleanliness & organization of the exam rooms & bathrooms
Stocking supplies in patient exam rooms & amp; other clinical areas, daily
Provide Inventory Lists for the Office Managers on a weekly basis
Provide training support for fellow employees & new hires
Other duties as assigned
