Position Overview:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and driven Managing Partner to lead the launch and growth of our dessert franchise, starting as a General Manager for our flagship location and evolving into a multi-unit leadership role as we expand to 5+ locations. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the operational success of a high-growth brand, driving exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team development across all locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial General Manager Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations for the flagship location, ensuring smooth execution of processes, exceptional customer service, and adherence to brand standards.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Financial Performance: Manage P&L for the flagship location, including budgeting, expense control, and revenue generation.
- Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional customer experience by maintaining high-quality service and addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Partner with the corporate team to execute local marketing initiatives and build relationships within the community to drive brand awareness and customer traffic.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as all company policies and procedures.
Multi-Unit Responsibilities (As New Locations Open):
- Leadership Expansion: Transition from General Manager to a multi-unit role, overseeing operations, performance, and profitability across multiple locations.
- Operational Consistency: Ensure all locations operate efficiently and consistently with brand standards, providing guidance and support to each store manager.
- Team Development: Mentor and coach store managers, creating a leadership pipeline to support ongoing growth.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the corporate team to develop and execute strategies for new location openings, including site selection, staffing, and operational setup.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial and operational metrics across all locations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a key ambassador for the brand, promoting its mission and values both internally and externally.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in restaurant or retail management, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or equivalent role. Multi-unit management experience is a strong plus.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrated ability to take ownership, drive results, and operate with an entrepreneurial spirit in a high-growth environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of building, managing, and motivating teams to achieve performance goals.
- Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of P&L management, labor optimization, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
- Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building community relationships.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and managing the complexities of multi-unit growth.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
