Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contract requirements.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Prepare project estimates, budgets, and cost-tracking reports.
- Approve expenditures and manage change orders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to clients and senior management.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address quality control issues.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
Problem-Solving & Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related challenges.
- Adapt to changing project conditions and client requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: [X] years in construction project management (commercial, residential, industrial, etc.).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: PMP, OSHA 30, or other relevant certifications (a plus).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
