Overview

A private equity backed fast casual restaurant group is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee 6 to 9 locations. This role focuses on operational consistency, team development, financial discipline, and execution of brand standards across a high growth environment. The ideal candidate brings strong multi unit leadership experience and thrives in a hands on, fast paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day operations for 6 to 9 fast casual locations, ensuring quality, speed, and guest experience standards are consistently met.

  • Lead and develop General Managers with a focus on coaching, accountability, and building strong internal pipelines.

  • Own full P&L performance across assigned units including labor management, inventory, food cost controls, and profitability.

  • Execute operational playbooks, SOPs, training programs, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct regular field visits to support teams, drive execution, and align each location with organizational goals.

  • Partner cross functionally with HR, finance, training, supply chain, and senior leadership on strategic priorities.

  • Support new store openings, staffing plans, and onboarding of new leaders.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, staffing, and brand standards across all units.

  • Analyze metrics, identify opportunities, and develop action plans that improve operations and financial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Multi unit leadership experience in fast casual or quick service restaurants is required.

  • Proven success managing at least 5 to 10 units or similar operational scope.

  • Strong financial acumen including P&L ownership, labor planning, inventory, and cost controls.

  • Track record of hiring, training, and developing high performing teams.

  • Comfortable in a hands on, field based leadership role with frequent travel.

  • Strong communication, problem solving, and operational execution skills.

  • Experience in a high growth, private equity backed, or metrics driven environment is preferred.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary up to 130,000

  • Performance based bonus

  • Travel reimbursement and full benefits package
